About us

Tujijenge is a microfinance company Limited by Shares that started its operations in February 2009, set up to provide a range of financial services, including customised credit, training and savings services. It operates in Eastern Uganda which is home to the lowest income earning population in the country. 

Tujijenge serves both men and women who are actively engaged in productive activities like business and Agricultural activities.

As at 2022, Tujijenge operates out of five Branches i.e. Mbale, Soroti, Busia Namayingo, and Bukedea; with a plan to expand to seven branches in the region by 2025

The Soroti Branch covers 7 districts of Soroti, Katakwi, Amuria, Ngora, Kumi, Serere and Soroti Itself.

Busia Branch covers Busia itself, Bugiri districts with expansion plans to Tororo

Branch Namayingo Covers Namayingo itself, Mayuge and Iganga districts 

Mbale Branch covers Mbale itself, Manafwa, Sironko, Namisindwa, and Bududa districts and soon extending to Bukedea and Bulamburi.

Bukedea branch covers Bukedea and Kumi districts
